from primary sources during the credentialing process (e.g. malpractice carriers, state
licensing boards, National Practitioner Data Bank). If you suspect any erroneous information
is contained in your credentialing file and you would like to request a review, please contact

Global Care Providers
With Global Care Medical Group, availability of Healthy Families, Medi-Cal, Commercial and Senior managed care contracts. We have arrangements with specialty providers and hospitals throughout Los Angeles County in addition to the tertiary agreements already in place at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Children's Hospital, Orthopedic Hospital and USC University Hospital. There is direct Referral Program in place for all IPA enrollees.

It means that existing networks will reduce the time required in getting you contracted for a managed care delivery system. There are staff training and education on how to make the transition from fee-for-service to managed care, how to manage finances in a capitated environment, Managing care in a risk-sharing contract, and attracting and keeping members.

The Global Care Points Physicians can earn points with Global Care in the areas of Patient access, Satisfactory survey result, Quality of care and Heidis indicators which include percentage score in Immunization, Mammogram, Pap test, Breast Examinations, Rectal (Occult blood/Prostate evaluation), percentage of men greater than 50 years of age with annual PSA (Prostate evaluation), Chronic diseases management e.g. Diabetes Mellitus (Annual eye/retinal exams, footcare, Glucose markers/Hgba 1 c) and Asthma periodic assessments, Annual Cholesterol evaluations, Use of beta blockers in acute myocardial infections, Use of Ace inhibitors in CHF patients, and On site visit; and finally timely submission of encounter data and PM 160 forms.
